About the Author

Sara Veglahn is the author of the novel, The Mayflies (Dzanc, 2014), and several chapbooks, including, The Ladies: an excerpt (New Herring Press, 2013), Another Random Heart (Letter Machine Editions, 2009) and Closed Histories (Noemi, 2008). Her writing and reviews have appeared or are forthcoming in Conjunctions, Fence, Caketrain, Octopus, Full Stop, and elsewhere. Veglahn, who grew up in the Midwest, holds a PhD in literature and writing from the University of Denver, and an MFA in writing from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She teaches creative writing and literature and lives in Denver.
